Both touch businesses directly. Dealing tends to gather around quiet car parks, service yards and doorways, while traffic problems affect delivery bays and staff routes. Visible officers, regular patrols and monitored CCTV make those spaces less attractive, and our written reports give the police evidence they can use. - Police priorities: drug dealing and road safety - 6,977 offences recorded within one mile - Shrub Hill, Elgar and Blackpole retail parks - 86 licensed bars and clubs inside 5km Get a Quote [View Worcester on OpenStreetMap](https://www.openstreetmap.org/search?query=Worcester%2C%20Worcestershire) Worcester Business Profile ## Worcester's business base and officers Of the 3,390 businesses registered in Worcester, 560 are in professional services, 410 in construction and 285 in leisure and entertainment. The city over-indexes on two trades. Car sales and repair make up 4.4% of firms where Britain manages 3.0%, so forecourt camera towers and night-time vehicle checks earn their keep. Haulage and warehousing reach 6.2% against 4.3%, and those yards usually want a manned gate and guarded loading areas. Our network includes five security workers whose homes are inside 10 miles of the city. Anyone we post to a Worcester site carries an SIA licence, has cleared BS 7858 screening and draws a PAYE wage, and GPS confirms their arrival when the shift begins. Our in-house control room watches over sites day and night, and digital patrol reports show a client exactly when gates, doors and fences were checked. 3,390 Registered businesses in Worcester 8 Active construction sites mapped within 5 km 86 Pubs, bars & nightclubs within 5 km ### Estates, shops and venues around Worcester - **Industrial & business parks:** Cranham Industrial Estate, Venture Business Park, Everoak Industrial Estate, Indruent Park Broomhall and Highways England Maintenance Compound Warndon - **Retail parks & shopping centres:** Shrub Hill Retail Park, Chapel Walk, Friary Walk, Elgar Retail Park and Blackpole Retail Park - **Hospitals:** Spire Southbank Hospital and Worcestershire Royal Hospital - **Rail stations:** Worcester Shrub Hill and Worcester Foregate Street ### Venues & Martyn's Law The Swan Theatre, the University of Worcester Arena and The Flag nightclub are among the venues within 5km, alongside Odeon and Vue cinemas.
