Construction contributes 4,020 of them and agriculture 3,775, the latter at 14.8% against a British average of 4.5%. Professional services make up 2,700. Event work often overlaps with these trades: large outdoor events bring stalls, equipment and vehicles onto one site, and the build-up and breakdown periods can need overnight guarding as much as the event days do. Utilities firms are a small group at 1.0%, above the 0.6% national level, and sites such as St Breock Windfarm suit remote CCTV monitoring and occasional patrols. Every steward or officer we provide is SIA-licensed where required, vetted to BS 7858 and paid via PAYE. Our 24/7 control room supervises each shift with GPS book-on and keeps a digital log of every incident. 25,580 Registered businesses in Cornwall 12 Pubs, bars & nightclubs within 5 km ### Venues and business sites near Wadebridge - **Industrial & business parks:** Trenant Industrial Estate, WS and St Breock Windfarm - **Retail parks & shopping centres:** Dunevath Business Park and hawksfield cornwall ### Venues & Martyn's Law The Royal Cornwall Events Centre and the Regal cinema are the named venues within 5km of Wadebridge. Wadebridge Security FAQs ## Frequently asked questions ### Can you provide stewards at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre? Yes. The centre is within 5km of Wadebridge, and our stewards and event security officers can manage entry, searches, car parks and crowd flow. We also help organisers get ready for Martyn's Law duties, due in 2027, for events of 200 or more. ### Do you guard event sites overnight? Large events often bring equipment, stalls and stock onto site days before opening. Static guards, CCTV towers and mobile patrols can protect a site through build-up and breakdown, with each patrol logged by GPS. ### How do you handle disorder at events? Violence and sexual offences accounted for 276 of the 546 crimes recorded within a mile of Wadebridge. Our SIA-licensed officers are trained to calm situations, work with venue staff and record incidents clearly. ### Can shops in Wadebridge get help with retail crime? The Wadebridge Town officers have put theft from shops on their list of three priorities. A uniformed retail officer on the shop floor, backed by monitored CCTV, discourages theft and reassures staff. ### Do you cover Padstow and Bodmin? Yes. Padstow sits 5 miles away, Bodmin 6 and St Columb Major 7, with Camelford at 9, so an organiser running events across the area can keep a single provider.
