Professional services lead with 680, followed by agriculture with 595 and construction with 530. Offices and practices generally need key holding and alarm response rather than a guard. Farms are another matter, and rural mobile patrols at irregular times, along with solar CCTV towers, give cover where there is no mains power or nobody living on site. Manufacturing is a little stronger than average too, at 5.6% of firms compared with 4.6% nationally. Workshops and production units on sites such as Lower Teme Business Park may want access control, static guarding at key times and alarm response overnight.
