Security Requirements in Splott ## Splott's mix of industry and city life Splott is ringed by working land: Splott Industrial Estate, Jubilee Trading Estate, Allied Industrial Park, Pacific Business Park and Clydesmuir Industrial Estate all fall within 5km. Retail runs along City Link, Seager and Newport Road retail parks. Cardiff Central, Queen Street and Cardiff Bay stations are nearby, as are Cardiff Royal Infirmary and the University Hospital of Wales. That density brings vehicle crime, shop theft and anti-social behaviour into the same area as yards and depots, so security plans often combine guarding, patrols and cameras.
