Sandyford sits among Newcastle's shops, hospitals and late venues, where a missing door supervisor or a forced shutter cannot wait. We arrange emergency cover from 35 SIA-active officers in our local network.
Trusted Protection in Sandyford
A bar loses a door supervisor before a Friday shift, a shop's shutter is jammed open, a clinic's alarm sounds after closing. These are the moments short-notice cover is for. Sandyford businesses can call our 24/7 control room, which selects an officer from the 70 registered in our network within 10 miles, issues the site brief and records the GPS book-on, so the cover is logged from arrival.
Sandyford Business Profile
Of the 70 security workers in our network who live within 10 miles of Sandyford, 35 have a current SIA licence and are open to shift bookings, and 10 have cars for mobile patrols and alarm response. All are BS 7858 vetted and on PAYE, and all file digital reports. That local pool is what makes late-booked cover practical across the city.
Newcastle upon Tyne has 9,090 registered businesses. Professional services lead with 1,500, hospitality follows at 1,005 and construction at 925. Hospitality, at 11.1% against 6.5% nationally, explains the demand for door supervisors at short notice. Health and care is also above average at 6.4% against 4.4%, so reception security and lone-worker support feature too.
Star And Shadow Cinema, The Biscuit Room and Little Buildings are among the venues within 5km. Those holding 200 or more people should prepare now for Martyn's Law, which is due to commence, and we can help with searches, stewarding and evacuation plans. What Martyn's Law means for venues.
