Security Requirements in Rothbury ## Rural Northumberland and its risks With no industrial estates, retail parks or stations listed within 5km, Rothbury's commercial footprint is small and spread out. Farms, a handful of licensed premises, two building sites and public services make up most of it. The main security challenge is distance: buildings and machinery can sit unattended for long periods, out of sight of neighbours. Remote monitoring linked to a staffed control room, together with patrol visits that never follow a set pattern, is the most practical answer for premises like these.
