You leave Kingsway Local Centre or Severn Vale Shopping Centre, pass trading estates such as Javelin Park and Chase Lane, and soon reach fields. The neighbourhood police even keep a dedicated Rural Crime Officer because of it. For Go Security, that means treating retail officers, estate rounds and farm or yard checks as a single joined-up plan, each visit timestamped by GPS. - Police team has its own Rural Crime Officer - Nine building projects plotted inside 5km - 55 licensed bars, pubs and clubs in range - Ten local officers drive their own cars Get a Quote [View Quedgeley on OpenStreetMap](https://www.openstreetmap.org/search?query=Quedgeley%2C%20Gloucestershire) Quedgeley Business Profile ## Local officers and the Gloucester economy Our network counts 55 registered security workers whose homes are no more than ten miles from Quedgeley. Thirty of them hold a live SIA licence and are active for shifts, and ten run their own cars, handy when an alarm trips at a rural unit or a trading estate on the city fringe. Each passed BS 7858 screening, sits on our PAYE payroll and reports to our in-house control room at any hour. Gloucester is home to roughly 3,815 registered firms. Building contractors lead on 660, professional services follow on 440 and business services on 330. Health and care reaches 5.9% of enterprises, ahead of 4.4% for Britain as a whole, so clinics and care homes tend to need reception security and lone-worker support. Security Requirements in Quedgeley ## Where suburb meets farmland Police describe this patch as mostly rural next to its neighbours, yet Madleaze Industrial Estate, St. Modwen Park Gloucester, The Peel Centre and The Eastgate all lie inside 5km. That blend is unusual. Retailers handle daytime footfall, while farms, depots and recycling sites stand quieter and more exposed overnight. Two other police concerns, youth anti-social behaviour around Kingsway and illegal e-scooter riding, bear directly on shopping parades and car parks once schools let out. Typical jobs include reception officers, lone-worker check-ins handled by our control room, and key holding with alarm attendance after hours. ### Can you help with youths causing trouble near our shop? Police have named youth anti-social behaviour around Kingsway and Quedgeley as a priority. A uniformed officer at peak times, cameras watched over the entrance and written incident logs you can pass to the neighbourhood team usually make the difference. ### Why are there no crime figures on this page?
