Police.uk counted 1,174 crimes within a mile over twelve months, with anti-social behaviour and shoplifting among the main categories. Hospitality is a strong local sector at 9.7% of Denbighshire firms, so door cover matters in the evenings, while agriculture, at 15.5%, brings farms that suit solar CCTV towers and rural patrols rather than static guards. - Crime down 24% in the latest quarter - Shoplifting fell 59% on a year earlier - Hospitality at 9.7% of Denbighshire firms - Graig Fawr and Talargoch estates nearby Get a Quote [View Prestatyn on OpenStreetMap](https://www.openstreetmap.org/search?query=Prestatyn%2C%20Denbighshire) Prestatyn Business Profile ## Denbighshire's farms, builders and hospitality Denbighshire has 3,715 registered businesses. Agriculture is the largest sector on 575, followed by construction on 505 and hospitality on 360. Farming's share of 15.5% is more than three times the national 4.5%, and hospitality's 9.7% is well clear of 6.5%. In practice that means machinery and fuel stored in open country, plus pubs and cafés that see their busiest trade after dark. Prestatyn contracts draw on officers from across north Wales. All are SIA-licensed, screened to BS 7858 and paid through PAYE, and each patrol or alarm visit is logged by GPS and overseen by our 24/7 control room. For the 28 pubs, bars and clubs within 5km, door supervisors can be booked for weekends or special events, while the three mapped construction sites suit towers and patrols. 3,715 Registered businesses in Denbighshire 28 Pubs, bars & nightclubs within 5 km ### Industrial and retail sites in Prestatyn - **Industrial & business parks:** Graig Fawr Industrial Estate, Talargoch Trading Estate, Water Works, Anglia Industrial Units, Parc Dyffryn and BT Relay Station - **Retail parks & shopping centres:** Clwyd Carpet Centre - **Rail stations:** Prestatyn ### Venues & Martyn's Law The Scala cinema is Prestatyn's named venue.
