Taken together, they suggest the main risks centre on people rather than property: evenings in licensed premises, shop counters, and public spaces. Door supervision and visible patrols address that pattern more directly than fortified buildings do. - Door staff for the town's 11 licensed premises - Retail cover where shoplifting reached 47 offences - Patrols at Griffin Industrial Estate after hours - Solar towers for Gwynedd's farming businesses Get a Quote [View Porthmadog on OpenStreetMap](https://www.openstreetmap.org/search?query=Porthmadog%2C%20Gwynedd) Porthmadog Business Profile ## Gwynedd's economy and security Gwynedd has about 5,520 registered businesses, with agriculture the largest sector at 1,255. That is 22.7% of firms, about five times the British 4.5%. Rural patrols and solar-powered camera towers are well suited to farms where mains power and staffed gates are not practical. Hospitality comes second at 750 firms, 13.6% compared with 6.5% across Britain, so door supervisors and evening cover are relevant to many local businesses. Construction follows on 745. Every officer we place holds an SIA licence, is vetted to BS 7858 and is paid on PAYE, with GPS book-on and our 24/7 control room supporting each shift. 5,520 Registered businesses in Gwynedd 11 Pubs, bars & nightclubs within 5 km ### Named sites around Porthmadog - **Industrial & business parks:** Griffin Industrial Estate, Robworth Storage, H.W.
