Oldbury Security FAQs ## Frequently asked questions ### Can you staff a gatehouse at an Oldbury distribution yard? Yes. Transport and logistics make up 14% of Sandwell businesses, and gatehouse control is a core service for them. Officers log vehicles in and out, check seals and paperwork, and book on by GPS so our 24/7 control room can see the post is covered. ### How do you protect car dealers and garages? Motor trade firms are 5.7% of the local base, nearly double the national figure, and 247 vehicle crimes were recorded within a mile in a year. We use forecourt CCTV towers, monitored remotely, plus overnight mobile patrols that check gates and vehicles. ### Are there enough officers locally for a large contract?
