Agriculture leads with 1,255, hospitality follows on 750 and construction on 745. Farming's 22.7% share is five times the 4.5% British figure, so remote buildings and machinery need cameras that run on solar power and patrols that vary their routine. Hospitality, at 13.6% against 6.5% nationally, brings evening and seasonal demand: door supervisors for pubs and functions, and key holding for holiday premises that stand empty out of season. Officers come from our wider network, all SIA-licensed, BS 7858 vetted and PAYE employed, with patrols logged by GPS. 5,520 Registered businesses in Gwynedd 5 Pubs, bars & nightclubs within 5 km ### Named sites near Nefyn - **Industrial & business parks:** Nefyn Coaches ### Venues & Martyn's Law The Cliffs is the named venue within 5km. That rhythm creates a particular security pattern: busy evenings needing door staff for part of the year, then empty premises that need alarm monitoring and key holder visits. North Wales Police's Nefyn team has named anti-social behaviour, drugs and speeding as local priorities. With only one construction site mapped and no industrial estates listed, most of our work here centres on licensed premises, holiday lets and farm buildings. Nefyn Security FAQs ## Frequently asked questions ### Can you supply door supervisors for summer evenings? Yes. Hospitality makes up 13.6% of Gwynedd businesses, more than double the 6.5% British share, and five licensed premises trade within 5km of Nefyn. Our SIA door supervisors cover peak weekends and one-off functions. ### Our holiday property is empty all winter. What do you suggest? Key holding and alarm response mean an officer attends if the alarm triggers. Scheduled inspections add a check on doors, windows and signs of entry, each logged by GPS with a written report. ### What about farms on the Llŷn Peninsula? Agriculture is 22.7% of Gwynedd firms. Solar CCTV towers, POD intruder alarms and irregular rural patrols protect machinery and outbuildings far from mains power. ### Do you provide stewards for events at The Cliffs? We can. The Cliffs is the named venue within 5km. Our SIA-licensed stewards handle entry and crowd management, and we advise on Martyn's Law for gatherings of 200 or more. ### Is anti-social behaviour an issue here? Police.uk recorded 20 ASB incidents within a mile over the year, and North Wales Police list it as a priority. Visible door staff and CCTV help licensed premises manage it.
