Trostre Steelworks and the industrial estates point to large sites with valuable plant and long perimeters, while Trostre South Retail Park and two hospitals, Gorseinon Hospital and Tŷ Garngoch Hospital, bring steady daily footfall. Three small stations link the area to the wider network. Sport and entertainment add a third layer. A stadium crowd behaves very differently from a theatre audience, and both need different staffing from an industrial gatehouse, which is why Loughor benefits from a provider able to offer guarding, stewarding and patrols together.
