That depth matters when a big show needs a full stewarding team. Each officer is PAYE, screened under BS 7858 and checks in by GPS with our 24/7 control room. Manchester counts 24,550 registered businesses. Professional services lead with 4,455, retail is second on 2,915 and hospitality third on 2,035. Without that data we won't guess at local totals. What we can point to is the neighbourhood team's own focus, which covers burglary, drugs and anti-social behaviour, and robbery with theft from the person. Those concerns map onto venue queues, shop floors and empty premises after hours. A free on-site audit with our 25-point checklist is the best way to judge the risks at a specific address.
