Construction leads with 530, professional services is close behind on 525, and hospitality follows on 320. Hospitality's 10.1% share runs well above the 6.5% British figure, which means pubs, cafés and guest accommodation are a large part of local trade. Those premises benefit most from key holding and alarm response when closed, and SIA door supervisors when busy. The motor trade makes up 4.4% of local firms compared with 3% nationally. Garages and forecourts are often left unattended overnight, so monitored CCTV towers and mobile patrols with GPS-recorded visits suit them. Officers we place hold SIA licences, have been vetted to BS 7858 and are paid through PAYE, and our 24/7 control room handles every alarm activation and patrol report. 3,170 Registered businesses in Redcar and Cleveland 10 Pubs, bars & nightclubs within 5 km ### Named places within 5km of Loftus - **Industrial & business parks:** Steel Special Sections - **Hospitals:** East Cleveland Hospital Sources: Go Security officer network (counts rounded to the nearest 5); ONS UK Business Counts via Nomis; place data © [OpenStreetMap contributors](https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright). Its mapped sites are few: Steel Special Sections on the industrial side, East Cleveland Hospital for health care, ten pubs and bars and two construction sites. Police have singled out Gladstone Street for anti-social behaviour. In a place of this size, premises are often owner-run, so having someone else answer the alarm makes a real difference.
