A break-in at Rose Mills, a failed alarm at Eaglewood Park or a farm shed left open overnight: Ilminster businesses sometimes need help at short notice. We arrange emergency guarding, alarm response and key holding across this part of Somerset.
Trusted Protection in Ilminster
Emergencies rarely come at convenient times. For Ilminster firms on Eaglewood Park, Conquest Business Park, Rose Mills Industrial Estate or Southfields Enterprise Park, that might be a forced door that needs guarding until it is repaired, or an alarm that needs someone to attend. Our key holding and alarm response service, backed by a 24/7 control room, means an SIA-licensed officer can be sent to check, secure and report on your premises.
Ilminster Business Profile
Somerset has 24,670 registered businesses. Construction leads with 3,685, closely followed by agriculture at 3,525 and professional services at 3,100. Farming makes up 14.3% of firms, more than three times the 4.5% British rate, so rural mobile patrols and solar CCTV towers are a common need. Motor trade firms, at 3.8% against 3.0%, benefit from forecourt cameras and overnight patrols.
Officers we send to Ilminster are SIA-licensed, BS 7858 vetted and on PAYE. For emergency call-outs and temporary guarding we work from our wider regional network, and for regular contracts we agree staffing in advance. Every attendance is logged with GPS book-on and a digital report, so you have a record for insurers.
The Warehouse Theatre is the main venue within 5km. If a performance there admits 200 or more people, Martyn's Law will apply once it starts, and we can provide stewards. What Martyn's Law means for venues.

Security Requirements in Ilminster
Ilminster's 5km map shows business parks and food and engineering employers rather than shopping centres. Branston Foods and Gooch & Housego sit alongside Eaglewood Park, Rose Mills and Conquest Business Park. There are 12 pubs, bars and clubs, two mapped construction sites and no rail stations or hospitals listed.
That makes alarm response, key holding and emergency guarding especially useful. Sites are spread out, many stand empty overnight, and a single forced door at a food or engineering plant can halt production until someone secures it.
