Security Requirements in Ferndown ## Town centre and trading estates Ferndown has no rail station within 5km, but it does have a defined town centre, St Leonards Hospital and a large cluster of industrial land, from Uddens to the Aviation Business Parks and a timber yard. That means two different security patterns: evening and weekend activity around shops and licensed premises, and quieter overnight hours on the estates, when patrols and monitored alarms take over.
