Agriculture leads at 2,235, construction follows at 1,670 and hospitality at 1,395. Farms, making up 20.1% of firms, are better served by rural mobile patrols and solar CCTV towers. Cromarty work is staffed from our wider network of SIA-licensed officers, each vetted to BS 7858 and paid via PAYE. Security Requirements in Cromarty ## A quiet town with one major industrial neighbour Apart from the energy park and its cultural venues, Cromarty has little commercial footprint within 5km: one pub or bar, one mapped construction site and no rail station or retail park. Night-time footfall is light, so security is about protecting specific assets. Industrial yards need controlled access and patrols, venues need stewarding on event nights, and outlying farms and hospitality businesses benefit from alarm response and CCTV.
