Craven Arms Security FAQs ## Frequently asked questions ### Can you protect farm machinery near Craven Arms? Yes. Agriculture makes up 19.4% of Shropshire businesses, so farm security is central to our offer here. Solar CCTV towers can watch yards without mains power, and rural mobile patrols visit at varied times to check sheds, fuel stores and gates. ### Is rural crime a concern locally? The Church Stretton and Craven Arms police team lists rural crime as a priority, based on resident feedback and crime data. That makes it sensible to review lighting, locks and camera coverage on outlying buildings, which our free audit covers. ### Do you offer key holding for small businesses? We do. If an alarm activates at a unit on Broome Industrial Estate or elsewhere nearby, a vetted key holder attends instead of the owner. Every visit is logged with GPS book-on and a digital report, overseen by our 24/7 control room. ### How do you secure a construction site in the countryside? There is one construction site mapped within 5km of Craven Arms, and Shropshire has 2,045 construction firms. Remote sites usually need CCTV towers linked to our control room plus out-of-hours patrols, since there is rarely anyone nearby to notice a break-in. ### What does a free audit involve? We visit your farm or business, work through a 25-point risk checklist and recommend proportionate measures. The audit is worth £250 and is free.
