Solar arrays carry valuable cabling and inverters, often far from the nearest house, while farms store fuel, tools and machinery in open yards. We protect both with solar-powered CCTV towers, remote monitoring through an NSI Gold accredited centre and mobile patrols that follow no fixed timetable. Cornwall has 25,580 registered businesses. Construction leads with 4,020, then agriculture with 3,775 and professional services with 2,700. Farming's 14.8% share is more than three times Britain's 4.5%, so rural patrols and solar CCTV towers are in steady demand. Utilities are also above average at 1.0% against 0.6%, and critical sites like the local solar parks suit guarding backed by remote CCTV monitoring. 25,580 Registered businesses in Cornwall 6 Pubs, bars & nightclubs within 5 km ### Named commercial sites near Callington - **Industrial & business parks:** Newton Ferrers Solar Park Sources: Go Security officer network (counts rounded to the nearest 5); ONS UK Business Counts via Nomis; place data © [OpenStreetMap contributors](https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright). Security Requirements in Callington ## A small town amid fields and panels The named commercial places within 5km are the two solar sites, along with six pubs, bars and nightclubs. No construction sites, stations or hospitals are listed in that radius. Business here is therefore largely about land, energy and a compact town centre, each with different security needs. Isolated assets are hardest to protect because an intruder can work unseen. Cameras that alert an NSI Gold accredited monitoring centre, combined with unannounced patrol visits, make that far harder to do without being noticed.
